Ten Years of Service!

It has been our pleasure to serve the Chapel Hill community since opening our doors in June of 1999 in the Europa Center. To better serve our growing customer base, the new headquarters of Harrington Bank opened in June of 2002 at the intersection of Highway 54 and Farrington Road. Since then, we have opened two more branches in Chapel Hill and one in North Raleigh.

In October of 2007, Harrington’s total outstanding loans reached $200 million. Our customers’ deposits followed suit, reaching the $200 million mark in February of 2008. Our loyal customer base and the personalized service that we make a priority have contributed to our success.

Thanks to our local strategic focus and record growth, Harrington Bank has been fortunate to weather the financial crisis of 2008-2009. We would like to thank you for your continued support and referrals, which have permitted us to build a strong customer base for the future of our growing institution. We remain committed to our plans for additional branches throughout the Triangle in the near future.
