John Wroton joins Harrington Bank Chris Lawrence, Senior Vice President of Lending at Harrington, announced today that John C. Wroton has joined the Bank as Assistant Vice President of Commercial Lending. Mr. Wroton will be responsible for serving Harrington Bank’s existing commercial business customers and expanding the Bank’s growing base of local, small- and medium-sized business customers. Mr. Wroton most recently worked as a commercial lender in the Technology and Life Science Division of Comerica Bank’s Durham office. He has also worked as a commercial lender at Wachovia Bank. Mr. Wroton received his MBA from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at UNC-CH and his BSE in Civil Engineering from Duke University. Harrington is a full service community bank with a focus on small businesses and is based in Chapel Hill. It was chartered in December of 2001 and draws its customer base from Chapel Hill and Durham, where its directors and shareholders reside. |
